Mission of Kraševka

The offer of the Kraševka Home Store is based on Slovenian locally grown agricultural products and foodstuffs. Slovenia is a very diverse country in terms of climate, customs and traditions, which is reflected in the richness and diversity of local crops and foodstuffs. The mission of Kraševka is to gather, present and offer the most typical and traditional products of Slovenian regions in one place. From honey, dried fruits, meats and cheeses, to wine and spirits.

INVESTIGATE

Slaughterhouse 0.75l St. Martin

Dry white wine of the autochthonous variety klarnica from Vipava
valleys. Grapes harvested late, mid-October 2017. One month of open maceration, then eight months in a closed container. Aged for 30 months on
fine yeast in acacia barrels; unfiltered and bottled in December
2020.

Mysterious Karst Teran

Emil Tavčar from the village of Kreplje is famous for one of the best Terans. Vines aged 20 to 70 years, with strong and overgrown roots. Each vine bears only so many clusters that it can endow them with the necessary earth juices even in prolonged drought. The wines are matured in oak barrels; they are bottled after three or more years; depending on the harvest.
