Cipro sorta, which belongs to the muscat family, has almost died out in Slovenian Istria, among other things, due to the fairly demanding cultivation of grapes.
Its knowledge dates back to 2000 years before Christ, making it one of the oldest wines in the world. Neighbors know it under the synonym Muscat rose (Croatian Istria) or Moscato rosa (Trentino, Italy). In our country, because of its density, the remains of unboiled sugar and the high alcohol content, it is also called "Liquor wine.
The wine has a rich light ruby color, with a strong and characteristic flower, mild acidity and increased alcohol content.
Semi-sweet and sweet Cipro is a wine of surprise and delight due to its special sweet-bitter taste with a characteristic scent of roses with nuances of apricots and violets.
